How are PayPal and Stripe fees calculated?
Most card and wallet processors charge a percentage of the amount plus a fixed fee per transaction: fee = amount × rate + fixed fee.
Are the preset rates exact?
No. Presets are common example rates. Actual fees vary by country, currency, account type and international or currency-conversion surcharges. Always check your provider's official fee page and edit the rate fields.
How much should I charge to receive a specific amount?
Use the 'Charge to receive' value: (amount + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − rate). This covers the fee so you get your target amount.
Does this include currency conversion?
No. Add any conversion spread to the percentage field if it applies to you.
