FAQ
How do I convert px to rem?
Divide the pixel value by the root font size. With the default 16px root, 24px ÷ 16 = 1.5rem.
What is the default root font size?
Browsers default to 16px unless the user or your CSS changes the html font-size.
Why use rem instead of px?
rem scales with the user's font-size setting, which improves accessibility and keeps spacing consistent.
What is the difference between rem and em?
rem is relative to the root html element; em is relative to the parent element's font size.
